Kathrin Kiehl.
Since 2016.
Since 2016, all kinds of hair forks and hair sticks have been made in my studio. Originally out of personal interest, I specialized in hair jewelry and experiment with different materials to craft unique pieces.
As a trained goldsmith, metals are naturally my main materials.
Material
Titanium.
A special metal.
Titanium fascinates me most for hair jewelry. It's extremely light, sturdy, hypoallergenic, corrosion-resistant and almost indestructible – a real space metal!
The broad range of colors titanium can take on brings playful accents to every hairstyle.
Experience
What hair teaches you.
Through years of working with hair and many happy encounters at fairs and markets, I've pinned up a lot of hair — long, short, thick, thin, curly, straight — and yes, almost every head of hair is suited for it.
The insights from my "market field research" of course flow back into new and existing designs, to make Kiehls Klunker even more functional.
